What is community care?

Community Care is sometimes referred to as ‘care in the community’ and it literally means you’re receiving care in your own home, rather than in a nursing or residential facility. Many people who discover they need care don’t want to leave the home they love and move into a care home, and therefore the option to remain at home and receive community care instead is very appealing.
